(keegan left, max right)

i am tired - really tired. the thing about the sleep deprivation, is that it hits you like a wall. (and never at a convenient time.) i am looking forward to a night when these guys sleep through the night. i really shouldnt complain, because they are sleeping for 4-5 our stretches mostly, but boy what i wouldnt do for a 6-7 hour stretch!
i attended my first parent/teacher conference today. its a little silly maybe for preschool - but nonetheless it was good. fin is very well adjusted and enjoys preschool. he is a little shy in some situations, which comes as a bit of surprise to me, as i rarely see the shy side. his teacher did talk about the changes and advancements he has made since the holidays. she said it was very obvious that he was concerned about what was going on at home while i was on bedrest, etc. she said they were soo happy to see him come back a happy soul after the holidays. it made me a little sad (actually brought tears to my eyes - did i mention how tired i am) to hear that he was so impacted by what was going on. but i was thrilled to hear that he is truly back to himself and thriving now.
